Further up Maryborough Hill, VWD433 is captured also with a 220 to Carrigaline. The 220 is scheduled to operate every fifteen minutes during the day - in this instance, after quite a wait, three passed within a 15 minute period!
The 220 is a success of recent years in Cork - following a frequency increase (doubled, from f-30 to f-15) and being made the country's first 24 hour city route, it has seen a 70% growth in passengers.
VWD433 is a Volvo B5TL with Wright Gemini 3 bodywork, new to Bus Éireann in 2020.
