Translink Goldline 1223

The beginning of March sees the next cluster of B11Rs enter service, in this case at Enniskillen. These are numbered 1222-1226, and replace Irizar i4s 1026-1029, which were new in 2012.

1223 is captured here at Loughview Park & Ride working the 14.00 261 from Enniskillen to Belfast, on a very dull March afternoon.

In this instance, it was suffering a door issue and was stranded at the Park & Ride site for around 25 minutes before the issue was resolved by the driver. I believe last year's SC5 tri-axles also had some issues with their doors at the beginning.

Dungannon, Omagh and Enniskillen are all receiving deliveries of these, meaning most journeys on this corridor should be operated by new SC5s.

1223 is a Volvo B11R with Sunsundegui SC5 bodywork, new to Translink in February 2021.
