Translink Glider 3220

Beginning December photos in Belfast, and a type not seen too often in these pages. One of Translink's 32 VanHool Exquicitys is noted here departing the city centre Wellington Place stop working a G1 from McKinstry Road to Dundonald.

In this instance 3220 departed full, primarily due to an influx of students from a nearby school. Gliders continued to be busy into the evening, with normal Metro buses 805 and 909 both noted providing extra capacity on the G1 service. "Full" in this case is not strictly true - whilst specific capacity restrictions are not in place in the north (unlike the south) capacity is still loosely restricted in an effort to allow for a degree of social distancing.

3220 is a VanHool Exquicity, new to Translink in July 2018.
